How do they work

Reduce excessive noise by separating the airflow and turning it back by itself. When the air is discharged and enters the muffler at high speed, the Yuanmei muffler redirects it to smaller airflows, which rebound from the opposite walls of the muffler chamber. When the airflow collides head-on, the speed will decrease and the exhaust gas will be gently dispersed over the entire surface area of the diffuser. This technology reduces noise without sacrificing machine performance.

Noise Information - How much noise is considered too loud?

Noise levels within the range of 70 decibels (dB) can be quite annoying for some people.

Exposure to a level above 80 decibels for 8 hours may cause hearing damage, while exposure to a level above 90 decibels for the same period of time may also cause hearing damage.

When the noise level exceeds 100 decibels and persists for 8 hours, it may cause severe hearing damage.

120 dB is regarded as the threshold for human pain, and tympanic membrane rupture may occur at 150 dB.

The damage caused by noise is not merely hearing loss. Studies show that continuous exposure to high levels of noise can lead to stress, high blood pressure, and even cardiovascular problems.

For example, testing of exhaust pipes without silencing products has shown that noise levels can be reduced from 49.3-113.6 dB with no silencer to 76.1 dB with the Yuanmei brand. This was reduced by a maximum of 37.5 dB. 

On average, the noise level was reduced by 5.35 dB dB. However, this is just our experimental data, because each application is different and cannot predict exact results, we can only show you our own experimental results.
